My brief stay in Coral Bay
I am just back from a week stay in Paphos, or should I more accurately say Coral Bay. I experienced the unexpected in the course of my stay there, as I had previously thought of the island as a totally hot tourist resort.... and never really considered that the island could host a mountainous region covered in snow or that there could be a breathtakingly stunning area of natural beauty such as the Akamas region. I was lucky to see these 'alternative' parts of Cyprus and mixed in with the friendly genuine people that I was lucky enought to meet there (and some very pleasant weather for this time of the year) I had a great and unforgetable time.

I totally agree with you, about the Coral bay and about Cyprus. Everytime I hear of someone else discovering Cyprus the way I did, it warms my heart. The 'alternative' Cyprus that you have discovered is what diveristy of Cyprus is all about. So many different experiences are packed in such a small package that it always astonishes the first time visitor. I am sure that now you are hooked to the Cyprus experience and believe me every trip you make, will introduce you to new dimensions and delights here.
