Winter Skiing in Cyprus

If you thought Cyprus was all sea and sunshine you are in for a surprise. Cyprus also has its own share of Skiing. (see photo below for an idea)

The slopes in the Mt Olympus area , highest peak in Troodos mountain range at about 2000 meters, has several ski treks. There are four ski lifts and all ski facilities are available during the usual ski season from January to March.
